The Dynamic Duo in Derbyshire

We are Bernard and Ernest, better known as 'The Dynamic Duo in Derbyshire'. Our favourite star is Betty Grable, star of many musicals, such as 'Moon Over Miami', 'Springtime in the Rockies' and 'Coney Island'. We have several web sites and web pages on the internet, and the links to these are given below, so please check them out. Between us we cover 144 years, so we both know quite a bit about the movies!

Our Favourite Films:

We have so many films we like we think it unfair to pick just one or two, but we do love the M-G-M Musicals of the 1950s. It was the time when you could enter a dark auditorium, and be transported on a magical carpet to a land of dreams, and the worries of the day could be forgotten.

There are so many like Marilyn Monroe, Jayne Mansfield, James Dean, Alice Faye, Jane Powell, Howard Keel, Debbie Reynolds, Gene Kelly, Fred Astaire, and of course our own favourite BETTY GRABLE, the PIN-UP Girl.
