Founded by Andrew Bridges in 1999, we quickly identified the need within the industry for an effective scientific desktop calculator aimed specifically at engineers and scientists. As a result, we started work on MC Squared as a commercial product to augment our bespoke software activities. Bridges Scientific currently offers two software titles for general release. These programs are shareware and demonstration copies are freely available for download from a number of websites (see the download section at the bottom of each relevant page). The demo programs are in fact the full version of the program, offering all features, but will only run for 31 days. After that, you must register your copy of the software to continue using the program. Once you have registered your copy your work will be just as you left it and none of your work will be lost. You can register your copies of the programs and make a secure payment over the Internet, allowing you to quickly and simply enable the programs forever. MC Squared Scientific Progammable RPN Calculator MC Squared is an advanced programmable scientific RPN calculator on your Windows desktop. MC Squared incorporates many productivity enhancing features that are not normally found on calculators, whether hardware or software. The unique "Engineering" display and entry modes allow the user to enter numbers and view results the way you would write them. The calculator buttons can be operated either by clicking them with the mouse or using convenient (and largely intuitive) keyboard shortcuts. Clicking a number on the Stack brings up the Stack Edit Menu, greatly simplifying stack operations. The display can be set up to display normal, negative and binary numbers in different colours. Even the display background colour and case colour can be changed. Add to all this a comprehensive suite of mathematical functions in four number bases, and full user programmability, and MC Squared rapidly becomes an invaluable tool for engineers, scientists, software developers, and in fact anyone with a need to perform calculations of any complexity. Ever wished you could tidy up your work environment without losing all the vital reminders you've written? Stick-it! allows you to do just that. It puts the yellow notes on your desktop and arrange them where you like, leaving your icons visible. You can even hide private notes from view, cross messages out or delete them when you've dealt with them, print your notes out, change the size of each note individually to suit the message and change the display font. Your notes don't have to be short either. You can paste an entire word processor document into a stick-it if you need to. Everything in Stick-it is geared to ease of use and speed. You don't even need to save a note after writing it. Stick-it does that for you every time the text of your note changes. Just type a quick reminder and go.
